The Music Ministry provide sound doctrine and spiritual worship through songs and music to prepare the hearts and minds of God’s people to receive the word of God. We set the atmosphere for worship and praise. We welcome new members to join one of our choirs.
Male Choir
John Perry, President
Meeting and rehearsal on the Thursdays before 1st Sunday at 6 p.m. The Male Choir sings on the 1st Sunday Choir Concert in December.
Sanctuary Choir

Meeting and rehearsal on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. The Sanctuary Choir sings on 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month. Also host the Annual 100 Women Concert on Palm Sunday.
Women Choir

Meeting and rehearsal on the Thursdays before the 5th Sunday at 6 p.m. The Women choir sings on 5th Sundays. Also host the 100 Women Choir Concert on Palm Sunday.
Youth Choir

Meeting and rehearsal on the Wednesdays before the 3rd Sunday at 6. p.m. The Youth choir sings on the 3rd Sundays of each month. Also host the annual 100 Youth Choir Concert on Father’s Day.
Deacon Wives

As we strive to walk and live worthy of the vocation by which we are called, it is our mission to serve others when and wherever needed. To reach out and encourage those in our church family, communities and witness to the unsaved. We assist the Pastor/Deacons as deemed necessary. We meet the 3rd Saturday of each month at 9:30 a.m.
Missionary Ministry
Shirley Lilly, President
Our purpose is to serve God by showing love through obedience and by connecting with others in and outside of our church and the communities. Our monthly visits to the Nursing Home include worship service and a spirited song service which uplift and put a smile on the faces of the residents. We also host the annual Thanksgiving basket program which service those who are in need including our elderly. Our meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10 a.m.
Usher’s Ministry

The Ushers’ Ministry meet, greet and seat all members, visitors, and friends that enters the Sanctuary, while assisting the Pastoral staff, ministers, officers or any other ministry by sight or request. Our Ushers provides smiling, courteous, disciplined, prompt and alert service to everyone that enters through the doors of the church. The Ushers meet the 3rd Saturday in the months of March, June, September and December at 11 a.m.
Matron Auxiliary
Donna Rowell, President
Our purpose is to unite and train young women in daily bible study, prayer, and service to others in and beyond our church family. Educate our children and grandchildren to grow in statue and in wisdom that is pleasing to God as Jesus did. Matron are women who are willing to put into practice Christian example of living. We meet the 3rd Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. We host the Good Friday Service and Thanksgiving Dinner for Senior Citizen.
Youth Department

Our mission is to provide biblical teaching to enhance spiritual growth in order to develop disciples for Christ. We meet on Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
Red Circle Department

Our purpose to give our best for the Master by serving Him daily and to do our best
to bring others to Him. We meet the 1st Monday of each month at 6 p.m.
Bus Ministry

Provide transportation to church for church members and other in the community.
Pastor’s Aid Ministry
Sylvia Pinkard, President
Pastor’s Aide Ministry assists the Pastor and his family as deemed necessary; serve as caretakers of the Pastor and his family. Provide the support needed to the pastor and his family, whether it be in for form of prayer, encouragement through words or deeds. They also host the monthly Senior Citizen Bible study every 3rd Tuesday of the month.
New Members Ministry
New Members are embraced and welcome to the Church family. They must go through New Members class with the Pastor unless otherwise instructed. We provide information regarding New Member’s class which provide spiritual support; guidance to the Christian faith. It also helps each member understand and reaffirm his/her conversion experience and other commitment to Christ and the Church. New Members are made familiar with the Baptist doctrine, fellow members and ministries. An annual Banquet is held for New Members who have been a member for 1 year or less.
Photography Ministry

The Photography Ministry is a service that ensues and preserves the history, events and activities at Pleasant Grove through the use of pictures. It tells the story of the Church from generation to generation.
Media Ministry
Charlie Pruitt, Tammy Preston-Stephens, Bishop Moss, Kimberly Moss, Joyce Sparks, Kendra Johnson, Maddison Jones, Maddox Jones, LaToya Jordan & Chiquita Brown
The Media Ministry shares God’s Word and Love through audio and video. This Ministry enables homebound and disable women who cannot come to church or who do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ, come into fellowship with him. It also preserves the Church history.
VBS Ministry

Vacation Bible School is an outreach effort of our Sunday school. It’s primary purpose is to reach and teach unchurched children, youth and adults in our communities. VBS maybe conducted for one day or one week in a structured, yet entertaining learning environment. VBS is an invaluable tool for outreach and evangelism. It fosters challenging experiences that stimulate spiritual growth.
Daughters of Divine Royalty
Patrice Bryant, President
Daughters of Divine Royalty mission is to carry the gospel, the sacraments, and God’s love and fellowship to others. We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate his Spirit through worship, witnessing and ministry to the needs of the people of our church and community. Monthly meetings are held on the 1st Monday of each month.
Crusaders
Deacons Joe Whitt & David Jones, Advisors
Crusaders are Disciple of Christ. The purpose of the Crusaders’ organization is to provide organized and attractive programs where boys and young men can grow spiritually, morally, socially, educationally and physically. Crusaders are actively involved in the mission and ministry of the church.
Praise Dancers

Worship dance or liturgical dance performed by our youth and is incorporated into worship service.
Security
David Jones, Head of Security
A group of individuals who are committed to and responsible for assessing the parking lot and surrounding areas for any safety risks or security threats that could affect worship service.
